COURTNEY
KITCHEN MANAGER
As Oxbow’s Kitchen Manager, Courtney oversees back-of-house operations which includes bagel, pastry, dough mixing, pizza and food prep. She spends a lot of time thinking about the walk-in cooler, work systems, and effective leadership, while also grinding it out as part of the production team.
Having worked as a food professional for the last 7 years, Courtney has had a variety of different roles front and back of house, cooking and baking, and finds she most enjoys the camaraderie of food service and the challenge of producing beautiful, delicious things again and again and again.
When she is not in the kitchen at work, you can find Courtney loafing at home in West Seattle with her partner and pet bear (ok, Old English Sheepdog), Truman.

Emily is Oxbow's Assistant Kitchen Manager, in part responsible for making production as efficient, smooth, and consistent as possible. Either on the floor or off, she strives to make the bakery a more effective machine. Her passion for making food comes from a desire to make something both beautiful and worthy of sharing. She finds that she most enjoys baking for its constant opportunities to practice and refine skills to make everything a little more perfect---motivated
by the days where everyone comes together and does a great job to make something really wonderful.
When not at the shaping table, Emily can be found sitting at some park, fencing, riding her bike, or spending time with her partner and their darling cat Oatie.
